Baw Baw Highway patrol get a boo boo in Warragul

Baw Baw Highway Patrol members intercepted an alleged drink driver last night in Warragul (19 January), Victoria Police say.

Police detected the white Holden utility travelling west on the Princes Highway at an alleged 183km/h in a 110km/h zone about 10.20pm.

The male probationary driver allegedly returned an evidentiary breath test of .101.

His vehicle was impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1005.00

The 27-year-old Pakenham man had his licence immediately suspended and is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving and other traffic related offences.
