Bayside Climate Emergency Grants opening soon

Bayside City Council invite local not-for-profit groups that contribute to making Bayside a better place to apply for a Bayside Climate Emergency Grant.

The Bayside Climate Emergency Grants provide funding of up to $5,000 for activities, events, projects, and programs which support and enable action to address the Climate Emergency in Bayside and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

Grants of up to $5,000 each are considered for initiatives by eligible community groups that meet the objectives of Council's Grants Policy and the Bayside Climate Emergency Grant guidelines.

Applications open on Monday 4 April at 9:00am and close on Wednesday 18 May at 5:00pm.

Come along to an information session and find out more about both the Annual Community Grants program and the Bayside Climate Emergency Grants program:

  • Monday 4 April, Bayside City Council, 76 Royal Avenue, Sandringham.
    • 5:30pm - 6:30pm, Annual Community Grants.
    • 6:30pm - 7:00pm, Bayside Climate Emergency Grants.
  • Wednesday 13 April, Bayside City Council, 76 Royal Avenue, Sandringham.
    • 10:00am - 11:00am, Annual Community Grants.
    • 11:00am - 11:30am, Bayside Climate Emergency Grants.
