Bayside Photography Competition Winners 11 December

Bayside Council has announced the winners of the 2025 Bayside Photography Competition, showcasing a stunning collection of images that capture the spirit, beauty and everyday life of our community.

Six talented winners were awarded with certificates and shared a total prize pool of $3,800, recognised for their outstanding ability to frame Bayside through creative, thoughtful and compelling photography across seven diverse categories.

Bayside Council's annual photography competition invites local photographers - from passionate amateurs to emerging creatives - to tell Bayside's story through the lens, celebrating its distinctive character across coastal landscapes, vibrant neighbourhoods, dynamic public spaces, native flora and fauna, and people at work, rest and play.

The seven categories of the competition include: Open, Natural Environment, Waterways, Transport, Active, Neighbourhood and Junior - and encouraged entrants of all ages to explore Bayside from a fresh perspective, highlighting moments both iconic and unexpected.

Winning images, along with a curated selection of finalist works, will be showcased in high-profile public locations including The Grand Eastlakes, Brighton Le Sands Boardwalk, and the T1 International Arrivals Terminal at Sydney Airport from January 2026, sharing Bayside's creativity and beauty with locals and visitors alike.

Mayor Edward McDougall said
