Bayside Road Safety Campaign

Bayside Council's latest road safety campaign uses mobile message boards to remind drivers to slow down.

"Speeding is the number one cause of crashes in NSW and Bayside Council is committed to addressing this important issue of road safety," Mayor Joe Awada said.

The campaign has kicked off in the following areas:

  • Russell Avenue, Dolls Point
  • Caroline Street Kingsgrove
  • Alston Street, Kingsgrove

Council has also written to the St George Area Local Command to advise them of the campaign and asking if they will lend their support by patrolling some of these streets over the next 4 weeks.

This road safety initiative is partly funded by Transport for NSW as part of the Local Government Road Safety Program.
