Bayswater North drink driver caught

Boronia police were patrolling in Bayswater North this morning when they observed a vehicle travelling on Keswick Crescent.

They conducted a routine intercept and spoke with the driver, a 37-year-old Bayswater North man, about 12.15am.

The man, who's license was suspended, returned an alleged evidentiary breath test of .231.

His silver Subaru was impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1555.00.

The man is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving and drive whilst suspended.
