Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Ben Zohs.
A warrant has been issued for the 28-year-old's arrest in relation to theft matters.
Zohs is believed to be frequent the Dandenong and Clayton areas.
He is perceived to be of Indian sub-continental appearance and described as 175cm tall with a slim build, dark brown hair and brown eyes.
Investigators have released an image of Zohs in the hope someone may have information on his current whereabouts.
