Rosemeath residents and road users are advised that Benlady Road will be closed for several hours on Monday 28 September 2026 between the Parsonage Creek causeway and Rosemeath Road, weather permitting.
Benlady Road will remain open either side of the closed section of road while work is underway. No through traffic will be permitted through the closure area. A detour along Monaro Highway will be in place during the closure.
Council's contractor will be trimming trees and managing vegetation ahead of gravel re-sheeting works scheduled for later this year. This will ensure graders and other road maintenance equipment can navigate Benlady Road safely.
