Council's infrastructure team are installing five new public bus shelters at Berridale Highdale Car Park and on Cooma's Mittagang Road from February to June 2026, weather permitting.

Temporary minor changes and delays affecting bus services, bus stop locations, footpaths, and traffic movements will be required while these installations are underway. Local bus operators have been informed of the upcoming works.

The five new shelters coming in 2026 are funded by a grant received under round two of the Transport for NSW Country Passenger Transport Infrastructure Grants Scheme (CPTIGS). The upcoming installations will join seven shelters installed in 2023 thanks to a round one CPTIGS grant.
