An Investment Showcase, to highlight the benefits of doing business in the Northern Territory and attract investment into key projects, boosting jobs and the economy, kicks off today.

Co-hosted by the Deputy Chief Minister Nicole Manison and John Wylie, from the Territory's Investment Advisory Group, six key Territory projects will also be featured, representing exciting opportunities in a diverse range of industries.

Two events will be held in both Sydney and Melbourne, targeting venture capital and private equity firms, as well as infrastructure and industry funds.

With face to face interactions with over twenty investors over the two days, the showcase provides a unique opportunity to highlight the Territory Labor Government's commitment to attracting private investment.

It also details the strategic and competitive advantage of operating in the Northern Territory, including our proximity to Asia, industrial and export infrastructure, abundance of natural resources and low latency digital connections.

The Northern Territory Government is looking for investors and project proponents that share an interest in sustainable development, in industry sectors with long term growth potential.

Quotes attributable to Deputy Chief Minister, Nicole Manison:

"The Territory Labor government is working hard to deliver more transformative projects that will be great for building a stronger economy.

The showcase is an important mechanism to build awareness of the enormous investment potential in the Northern Territory, and secure more investment for our project proponents.

By driving investment into the Territory, we create local jobs, increase infrastructure and build towards our $40 billion economy by 2030."
