On behalf of the United States of America, I extend my sincere congratulations to the people of Bhutan on the celebration of the National Day of the Kingdom of Bhutan on December 17.
The peoples of our two countries share a history of warm friendship and a commitment to building a world that is more peaceful, prosperous, and equitable. The United States looks forward to continuing to strengthen the ties between our peoples and to working together to address shared challenges, such as climate change.
On behalf of the people and the Government of the United States of America, I warmly extend best wishes to the people of Bhutan as they celebrate this special occasion.
