Two executives engaged on the Allan Labor Government's corrupted Big Build have secured taxpayer funded salary top-ups worth almost $440,000 a year.
New documents have revealed details of determinations of requests by the Allan Labor Government to pay executives over the maximum of the relevant salary band, including:
Under Labor, the number of Victorian Public Service executives has almost tripled from 675 in 2014-15 to 1,902 as of June 2025, whilst at least $15 billion of taxpayer money has been lost to corruption and misconduct on major projects.
Furthermore, agencies including the Suburban Rail Loop Authority and VicGrid continue to spend millions of taxpayer dollars on executive recruiters, despite recent data confirming there are more than 500 fewer Victoria Police officers on the beat now, than when Jacinta Allan became Premier.
Leader of the Opposition and Shadow Treasurer, Jess Wilson, said: "Labor's priorities are all wrong and Victorians are paying the price.
"Whilst executives on Labor's corrupted Big Build score salary top-ups worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, there are 500 fewer Victoria Police officers on the beat now than when Jacinta Allan became Premier.
"Victoria doesn't need more taxpayer funded executives earning over $800,000 a year, we need 3000 more police to fix Labor's crime crisis and keep Victorians safe.
"As Victoria's alternative Premier, my priority will always be on the essential services Victorians need and deserve."
