Two males have died following a boating incident at Policemans Point in North East Tasmania, Tasmania Police say.
The incident occurred on Saturday 10th March 2018, around 4.45pm.
The men were fishing in the area with another male, when the 5m dingy they were in started taking on water. Attempts to remove the water from the boat were unsuccessful and the boat started to capsize.
All three men entered the water but tragically only one of the males made it safely to shore.
The incident was attended by Tasmania Police, Tasmania Ambulance Service and the Westpac rescue helicopter.
Police will prepare a full report for the Coroner.
