A body, believed to be that of a man missing from Chester Hills since March, has been located.
About 2pm yesterday (Sunday 21 April 2019), two men were driving along a fire trail near Colo Heights Road, when they sighted a Toyota Hilux parked in the bushland and a tent nearby, containing a body.
Officers from Hawkesbury Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
The body is yet to be formally identified, but it is believed to be that of a 51-year-old man who was last seen at a home in Chester Hill on Monday 4 March 2019.
Initial inquiries suggest the death is not suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
