An investigation is underway after the body of a woman was located inside a unit in Sydney's west today.
About 12.10pm (Wednesday 31 December 2025), police were called to a unit on Enid Street, Granville, following reports of a concern for welfare.
Officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command attended and located a woman's body inside the unit.
She has not yet been formally identified, but is believed to be aged her 40s.
A crime scene was established and police commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident, which is believed to be suspicious.
