A body has been located during the search for a girl reported missing from the Upper Hunter yesterday.
The 17-year-old was last seen on Mill Creek Road, Stroud, about 9am yesterday (Tuesday 28 March 2023).
After failing to return home, officers attached to Port Stephens-Hunter Police District were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.
About 10am today (Wednesday 29 March 2023), the body believed to be that of the missing girl was located by police near Mill Creek Road, Stroud.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
