A body has been found by police searching for a woman missing from Glendenning.
The 27-year-old had been reported missing from Glendenning, after last being seen about 1pm on Friday 1 December 2023.
Officers attached to Mount Druitt Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
About 12.30am (Tuesday 5 December 2023), the body of a woman was found in Schofields.
The body is yet to be formally identified; however, it is believed to be that of the missing woman.
Initial inquiries suggest her death is not suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
