Police are investigating after a body was discovered inside a home in Smithfield tonight, NSW Police say.
Shortly after 10pm (Sunday 3 December 2017), emergency services were called to a home on Reserve Street after the body of a man was discovered inside the premises by a friend.
Officers from Fairfield Local Area Command responded and declared a crime scene.
An amount of drug paraphernalia, including a hydroponic set-up, was found inside.
Detectives from Fairfield have commenced an investigation and are appealing for anyone with information that may assist to contact them at Fairfield Police Station or Crime Stoppers.
