A body, believed to be that of a man missing from Berowra Heights, has been located in bushland today.
The 74-year-old man was last seen at his home in Easton Road, Berowra Heights, prior to 8pm on Thursday 18 March 2021.
Officers from Kuring Gai Police Area Command were notified of the man's disappearance and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts, including an extensive search of surrounding bushland.
A further search was conducted today (Tuesday 6 April 2021), with the assistance of the Dog Unit and a man's body was located on the Berkley Track at Berowra about 11am.
The body is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be that of the missing man.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
