A body has been located during the search for a man reported missing in the CBD earlier this week.
The 37-year-old was last seen in the Darlinghurst area about 8.30am on Wednesday 20 July 2022.
Officers attached to Surry Hills Police Area Command were notified by family when he could not be located, and an investigation into his whereabouts commenced.
Following extensive inquiries, a man's body was located inside a unit on College Street, Sydney, yesterday (Friday 22 July 2022).
While the body hasn't been formally identified; it's believed to be the missing man.
Initial inquiries suggest the death is not suspicious and a report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
