A body has been located during the search for a missing Gunnedah man.
The 55-year-old man was last seen on Cobbadah Crescent, Gunnedah, about 6pm on Sunday (12 February 2023).
When he couldn't be located, officers attached to Oxley Police District were notified and commenced inquires.
About 7am today (Wednesday 15 February 2023), a body was located near Porcupine Lookout, Gunnedah.
While the body is yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be that of the missing man.
The man's death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
