Body located in house at Greenwich identified, NSW

The body discovered at a home last week in Greenwich has now been positively identified, NSW Police say.

On Tuesday, 29 May 2018, a body was discovered at a home on Greendale Street, by cleaners after the occupant died over a year ago.

The body was taken to Glebe morgue where an autopsy was conducted.

The body was positively identified as Shane John Snellman and it is believed he sustained a number of injuries.

At this stage it is unknown when he died.

The man’s death is being treated as suspicious and officers attached to Strike Force Grimmett are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
