Body of missing man located at Campbelltown

The body of a man reported missing from Sydney's south west has been located.

The 55-year-old man last seen at Campbelltown about 12.15am on Thursday 19 October 2023.

When he could not be located or contacted, officers from Campbelltown Police Area Command were notified who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

About 7.30pm yesterday (Friday 27 October 2023), the missing man was located in bushland at Ingleburn.

Although yet to be formally identified the body is believed to be that of the missing man.

There are no suspicious circumstances, and a report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
