Bayside Council is seeking community feedback on potential measures to improve safety, protect the natural environment and better manage personal watercraft (PWC) activity in Botany Bay.
PWCs, commonly known as jet skis, are used across Botany Bay for recreation. Council is seeking to better understand community experiences, priorities and areas of concern relating to their use.
Feedback will help inform Council's future advocacy to the NSW Government on jet ski management in Botany Bay, including potential changes to exclusion zones and other measures that support safe and respectful use of the waterway.
The consultation is open from Thursday 10 September 2026 until Wednesday 31 March 2027.
