A boy missing from Sydney's west has been located safe and well.
The 11-year-old boy was last seen at Fairfield Park on Vine Street, Fairfield, about 9pm on Sunday (16 January 2022).
He was reported missing to officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command when he failed to return home or back to the park.
Following extensive inquiries and a geo-targeting text message, the boy was located safe and well at Smithfield Railway Station about 11.30am today (Tuesday 18 January 2022).
Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.
