Branch Out with Hampton Library's out-of-hours access

Bayside residents can now access library services at a time that is convenient to them following the extension of our operating hours at Hampton Library.

The program, Branch Out, officially launched today and enables members aged 18 and over access to the branch between 6am and 10pm, 7 days per week.

The program enables public access during unstaffed hours and will be open to library members who complete an induction process.

This initiative was part of a series of upgrades across Bayside Library Service. Bayside City Council obtained funding under two different grant programs from the Victorian Government to create additional community access to our wonderful library service. We received a $92,500 Library COVID Recovery Project grant and $90,000 from a Living Libraries grant - with Council matching the $182,500 to complete the works.
