Police are investigating after a business was broken into last night at Kawana., Queensland Police say
Initial information suggests that two men entered a house on Farm Street last night at 8.15 and stole a car.
The man then drove the car across the road to a tyre and mechanical business on Chappell Street and reversed it into a roller door.
A woman from the Farm Street residence noticed her car was missing and observed it at the business and ran across the street and confronted one of the men.
The pair both fled the scene on foot and extensive patrols have failed to locate them overnight.
Investigations are continuing.
