Break and enter at Southport, QLD

Police are investigating a break and enter at a chemist at Southport in the early hours of this morning, Queensland Police say.

Around 12.50am a man has thrown a brick through the front glass doors of the Marine Parade chemist to gain entry.

Once inside the premises the man has stolen medication placing it into a backpack before exiting the business through the broken glass door.

He was last seen running towards Norman Street before getting on a bicycle and riding away along the same street.

The man is described as between 20 to 30 years, Caucasian in appearance, approximately 175cm tall and was wearing a white short sleeved t-shirt, black hat, black balaclava, black long pants, black Nike shoes, green garden gloves and carrying a black back pack.
