Ipswich detectives have charged an 18-year-old Gatton man with 23 offences following the alleged break and enter of multiple businesses in the Ipswich District last month.
Police will allege offenders broke into up to 17 businesses in locations including Springfield Lakes Boulevard, Springfield Lakes, Redbank Plains Road, Redbank Plains and Pine Mountain Road, Brassal between 3.30am and 5.30am.
Following extensive inquiries, detectives from Ipswich Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) identified a person of interest in relation to the offences.
Detectives executed a search warrant at a Gatton address on Saturday, 23 August, locating evidence related to the offences and took the 18-year-old Gatton man into custody.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court today, 25 August.
Investigations are ongoing.
