Break And Enter, South Toowoomba

Police have charged two people following the break and enter of a South Toowoomba motor inn on 18 July.

Around 7.30pm it is alleged a man and a woman entered the James Street business after damaging the entry door.

Once inside a small amount of cash was allegedly stolen before they both left the scene in a stolen grey 2008 Hyundai Getz.

A short time later, police located the vehicle and a man and a woman at a Sheehan Street address in South Toowoomba, taking them into custody.

The grey 2008 Hyundai Getz was reported stolen from a Darmstadt Court address in Kearneys Spring earlier the same day.

A 38-year-old Moree man has been charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter premises and commit and dangerous drugs.

He is due to reappear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court today 21 July.

A 33-year-old Harristown woman has been charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter premises and commit and possess utensils.

She is due to reappear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on 4 September.
