Break and enters in Ipswich, QLD

Police are investigating two break and enters that occurred in the Ipswich area early this morning, Queensland Police say.

Around 2.15am this morning two people have forced entry into a supermarket on Collingwood Drive, Collingwood Park.

After forcing entry the pair entered the store and removed a quantity of cigarettes. They then left the store through the same point of entry.

At about 3am two people have forced entry into a food outlet on Warwick Road, Yamanto. The pair have then entered the store and left with a sum of money.

Police believe that both incidents are linked and are appealing for anyone who may have been in either area around the time of the incidents who witnessed any suspicious activity to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Investigations are continuing.
