Police were called to a house at Morphett Vale overnight following reports of a break-in and assault, according to SA Police.
Just after 9.30pm on Wednesday 7 December, patrols attended a house on Parramatta Drive after a man had forced the front door while two women were inside.
It is alleged he stole two mobile phones and a purse before he tasered a woman. The suspect then left.
Both women are known to him and enquiries are continuing.
