Break-in at Auburn tool shop

Police are investigating the break-in of a tool shop at Auburn overnight.

Just after 1am (Thursday 16 May 2019), two men attended the store on Parramatta Road, and used a small truck to reverse into the front roller door of the store.

Once access was gained, the two men entered the store and stole a number of tools before fleeing.

Just after 2am, security attended the store and notified police.

Officers from Auburn Police Area Command attended and have commenced investigations.

The vehicle has been described as a white/blue small truck driven by a man wearing black clothing.

The second man is described as wearing a high-vis yellow and blue jumper, and yellow trackpants.
