Break-in At Ingle Farm

Police are investigating an overnight break-in at an Ingle Farm home.

The occupants of the house in Denning Avenue, Ingle Farm were awoken around 1.30am by three intruders wearing balaclavas.

Two of the occupants, a 53-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, confronted the intruders and sustained minor lacerations during the scuffle.

One of the suspects was armed with a knife, which was left at the scene.

The suspects ran off on foot across a reserve towards Mozart Avenue. They were all wearing all black puffer jackets, gloves and long pants.

Police searched the area with the assistance of Police Dog Bomber but did not locate the offenders.

The victims were treated at the scene by paramedics for minor injuries and did not require further medical treatment.

Crime scene investigators attended the scene this morning.
