Break in, Southport

Police have released CCTV after a break in at a jewellery store at Southport in the early hours of this morning.

Around 3.15am three offenders have entered a shopping centre on Marine Parade and smashed their way into a jewellery store to gain entry.

Security officers observed the men at which time one of the offenders produced a crowbar in a threatening manner.

The men obtained a quantity of jewellery before fleeing the scene in a stolen black 2008 BMW 120I with Queensland registration 508 LCD.

This vehicle had been stolen from a house at Rochedale between 11.59pm on October 28 and 3am on October 29.
