Breaker caught at Greenacres, South Australia

A man has been arrested after night staff at a Greenacres shopping centre caught him breaking in.

Just after midnight on Friday 13 September, police were called to the Greenacres Shopping Centre on Muller Road after reports a man had smashed the door of a café and gained entry to the complex.

Night fill staff heard the smashing glass and spotted the intruder, and immediately called police. The man stole a till from the cafe before attempting to run off. However four staff members gave chase and apprehended the suspect in the carpark, holding him until police patrols arrived.
