SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, July 31, 2019 – Two of Australia's most influential leaders in sustainable commercial real estate, Bruce Precious and Paul Wall, have joined Envizi's advisory board.
Bruce Precious, who concluded his 10-year tenure as GPT's National Manager of Sustainability and Property Services in spring of last year, and Paul Wall, who moved on from Dexus as Head of Group Sustainability and Energy earlier this year, both bring deep knowledge in assimilating sustainability initiatives and day-to-day building operations to drive commercial success and globally leading ESG performance.
The move comes as Envizi, a data and analytics software vendor that helps organizations optimize their energy, sustainability and asset performance, continues its expansion into the global commercial real estate market. Precious and Wall will help to evolve Envizi's product offering for building optimization and sustainability reporting, to inform global go-to-market strategy and to bring the lessons learned in the Australian commercial real estate market to the rest of the world.
Precious and Wall, both former chairs of the Better Building Partnership, have been influential in shaping the Australian commercial property sector, which has outperformed all other regions globally in GRESB sustainability leaders for the past eight years and, more recently, has delivered more signatories to the World Green Building Council's NetZero commitment than any other region.
Under Wall's stewardship, Dexus has consistently ranked as a GRESB sustainability leader, achieving the number one position for global listed office property and third for all participants in the 2017 GRESB sustainability rankings.

Over the past decade, GPT frequently placed first or second in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index under Bruce Precious' leadership, with notable energy reductions on a per square metre basis by 40 per cent, and greenhouse emissions by 58 per cent.
