Brunswick bus assault

Brunswick police are hoping to identify an elderly man after a bus driver was spat on in Brunswick earlier this month.

Police have been told the route 508 bus stopped outside the Brunswick Railway station to let the man off about 11.15am on 2 July.

As he got off the bus he spat on the driver before leaving on foot towards Moonee Ponds.

Investigators have released CCTV stills of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

He is perceived to be about 80-years-old, 172cm tall, and was wearing a long blue coat, brown hat, and was carrying a walking stick and blue carry bag.
