Hendra detectives are appealing for witnesses to a building fire at Newmarket overnight.
Just after 11pm, emergency services were called to a child care centre under construction on Enoggera Road where they found the building fully alight.
Firefighters extinguished the fire just after midnight and a crime scene was declared shortly after.
Police and fire investigators have been unable to determine the cause of the fire due to the extensive damage caused by the fire.
Police are appealing to anyone who was in the vicinity of Enoggera Road between 10pm and 11.30pm and who may have footage of the fire, to come forward.
