Burglary and deceptions in Melbourne CBD

Police are appealing for public assistance to help identify a woman following a burglary and subsequent deception in the Melbourne CBD last month.

Detective from Melbourne Crime Investigations Unit believed the woman gained entry to an apartment on Rose Lane where a wallet was stolen sometime on 25 June.

Bank cards contained within the wallet were subsequently used at a nearby shopping complex.

Investigators have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe can assist with their enquiries.
