Burglary at Bendigo service station

Bendigo Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating following a burglary in Bendigo this morning, Victoria Police say.

Police were called to a service station on McIvor Road about 5.15am after receiving reports two men attended in a black or dark green Nissan Pulsar hatchback.

It is believed the two men smashed a number of windows and gained access to the store.

They then stole a large quantity of cigarettes and fled the scene in the vehicle, travelling east along McIvor Road towards Junortoun.

No one was injured in the incident and police continue to investigate.
