Police are investigating after cash was stolen from a supermarket in Morwell early this morning, Victoria Police say.
It is believed three unknown offenders broke into the George Street store about 1.45am.
Once inside, they forced the front of a number of self-serve registers and stole a large amount of cash.
It’s believed the thieves were driving a white SUV.
Police are keen to speak to speak to any witnesses or anyone that may have seen any suspicious activity in the area.
