Burglary charges at Upper Coomera, QLD

Police have arrested and charged three juveniles following an alleged burglary and theft of a vehicle at Upper Coomera yesterday afternoon, Queensland Police say.

It is alleged that between 11am and 2pm, a number of persons have entered a house on Lysterfield Rise and removed a quantity of personal items including jewellery, mobile phones and cash.

It is alleged the offenders then stole a blue BMW sedan from the house and drove from the scene in the vehicle with the stolen property.

At about 7.12pm, police located the vehicle being driven in the Riverview area and successfully deployed a tyre deflation device. It is alleged the vehicle continued to drive throughout the Redbank Plains area eventually stopping in Bundamba.

Three juveniles from the vehicle were arrested and charged.

A 16-year-old girl from Dinmore, a 15-year-old boy from Brassall and a 15-year-old boy from North Booval have each been charged with one count each of burglary and commit indictable offence, receiving tainted property and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
