Burglary with violence at Marsden, QLD

Police are investigating after a man was assaulted and robbed in a home at Marsden last night, Queensland Police say.

Shortly after 11pm, three men believed to be armed with firearms and a knife forced their way into the Coolmunda Street address and threatened the 19-year-old male resident.

The men then demanded keys to a shed before assaulted him in the side of the face and head.

The men stole a sum of cash and personal items before fleeing the premises.

The victim was taken to hospital with significant but non-life threatening injuries including a suspected broken jaw.

The first man is described as Pacific Islander, mid 20s, with a solid build, short dark hair and wearing dark clothing.

The second man is described as Pacific Islander, tall with an olive complexion, mid 20s, wearing dark clothing, a balaclava covering his face and a tattoo running up and over his right eye.

The third man is described as Pacific Islander, with a slim build and dark complexion.
