Police are investigating a violent burglary that occurred in a residence at Sarina early this morning, Queensland Police say.
Around 2.30am, a group of men have attended the residence on Middle Creek Road and have confronted the 39-year-old male occupant.
Once inside, the man has been assaulted, receiving injuries to his head.
The men stole a red Polaris quad bike and a blue trail motorcycle before leaving the residence.
The man was transported to Mackay Base Hospital for treatment.
