Burglary With Violence, Coopers Plains 9 June

Police are investigating a burglary with violence at Coopers Plains in the early hours of Tuesday, 9 June.

Initial investigations indicate that around 1.30am, five males forced entry into a Babbidge Street residence.

It will be alleged the group, armed with knives and baseball bats, entered the home, and made demands for property.

During the incident, a 19-year-old man sustained minor injuries.

The group allegedly conducted a search of the residence before stealing cash and a number of personal items.

The five males then fled the scene.

A crime scene has been declared, and investigations are ongoing.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the Babbidge Street area around the time of the incident, or who may have relevant CCTV, dashcam or other vision, to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
