Burglary with violence in Nerang, QLD

Detectives have released a computer generated image of a man believed to have been involved in a burglary with violence in Nerang on Friday, November 4, Queensland Police say.

Initial investigations indicate at around 10pm a man unlawfully entered a unit in Martin Street.

While in the unit the man struck two female occupants with a baton before demanding a sum of cash and leaving the unit.

A 41-year-old woman and 62-year-old woman were treated for bruising and abrasions at the Gold Coast University Hospital.

The man (pictured) is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his late 30s or early 40s, approximately 180cm tall, of a medium build with short brown hair and a dragon type tattoo on the left side of his neck and tattoos on both lower legs.
