Police investigating a violent disturbance at a Rochedale home overnight that left four people hospitalised have arrested seven men, Queensland Police say.
Police will alleged that a group of men entered a Priestdale Road residence around 10pm armed with bats, poles, shovels, and one carrying a handgun.
They allegedly threatened the six occupants of the house- two women aged 46 and 19, and four men aged 56, 50, 22 and 20 – assaulting the four men.
The house was allegedly ransacked by the group before they stole a 2016 red Yamaha MT07 motorcycle with Queensland registration 641OJ and left the residence.
Two vehicles used by the men were followed by police and Polair with the vehicles being intercepted and seven men taken into custody. One vehicle was intercepted in Melbury Road, Browns Plains and the other in Beenleigh-Beaudesert Road, Windaroo.
The seven men – two 20-year-olds from Woodridge and Waterford West, two 22-year-olds from Eagleby and Boronia Heights, two men from Marsden aged 19 and 23, and a 21-year-old man from Springwood – are assisting police with their investigations.
The four male occupants of the house were transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Logan Hospital for treatment to non-life threatening injuries.
The motorcycle remains outstanding.
