Police are investigating a burglary with violence which occurred in Tallebudgera today, Queensland Police say.
At 5pm, a man armed with a baton broke into a Friesan Court home and approached the sole male occupant and demanded money.
The resident struggled with the armed man who struck him multiple times to the head with the baton causing non-life-threatening injuries.
He was transported to the Robina Hospital for treatment.
No property was stolen during the incident.
Investigations are continuing.
