Burnside man charged with murder, SA

Detectives from the South Australia Police Major Crime Investigation Branch investigating the drowning death of Helen Dansie in Adelaide’s south parklands earlier this year have today arrested a 68-year-old man, according to SA Police.

The Burnside man has been charged with murder and is expected to appear before the Adelaide Magistrates Court today having been refused police bail.

Mrs Dansie, 67, drowned in a pond at Veale Gardens, with her death declared a Major Crime.

Since that time, detectives have been investigating the circumstances surrounding the death with those inquiries culminating in today's arrest.
