Bushfire Watch and Act message issued for The Gap, Frances and Bangham in the South East, SA

CFS advises that a bushfire at in the Lower South East of South Australia near Walkington Hills Road, My Mimi Road, Learmouth and the Bordertown - Frances Road may threaten your safety, according to SA Police.

Check and follow your Bushfire Survival Plan. If you are not prepared, leave now. Only leave if the path is clear to a safer place.

The GAP fire is travelling in a north easterly direction direction towards Walkington Hills Road, My Mi Mi Road, Learmouth Road and the Bordertown - Frances Road and the Geegeela Conservation Park.

The fire is uncontrolled and burning in Grass and conditions are continually changing.

You should not enter this area as the roads may not be safe.
